Summerset Adventure Tours is planning a European Adventure! Back by popular demand, Ron and Linda are planning an 8 day European excursion where you will spend 2 days in Sorrento visiting Pompeii, Capri and Amalfi. The next three days you will visit Florence with day trips to the wine country and Cinque Terra. The final 3 days in Rome with classic tours of the Coliseum, Vatican and Catacombs ~ where you will also experience the Rome night life!

Your days at a glance:
Oct. 5 – Overnight flight from Des Moines to Rome, Italy (via Atlanta). Oct. 6 – 7:05AM Arrival at FCO airport. Meet tour escort and board a private bus for transfer to the hotel in Sorrento. En route stop in Pompeii to visit the excavations. Once in Sorrentocheck in and experience the rest of your day at leisure. Welcome dinner and overnight. Oct. 7 – Full day excursion to Capri. Oct. 8 – Transfer by private bus from Sorrento to Florence, with stop in Orvieto. Overnight in Florence. Oct. 9 – Half day walking tour of Florence w/Accademia + half day at leisure. Optional excursion to Pisa. Oct. 10 – Full day excursion to Cinque Terre. Oct. 11 – Transfer by private bus from Florence hotel to Rome hotel. En route stop in Siena and Montepulciano to visit winery or Cantina for wine tasting. Overnight in Rome. Oct. 12 – Half day ancient Rometour, including visit to the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Half day Monumental Rome tour, including visit to Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Spanish steps, + visit 1 of the Catacombs. Oct. 13 – Half day Vatican Tour Museum. Half day at leisure for shopping or optional excursion to Tivoli. Farewell dinner. Oct. 14 – Morning departure transfer to Rome airport.
(An optional cruise may be arranged at the conclusion of your trip.)

Your deposit is fully refundable in case of cancellation on or before July 1st, 2010.
Summerset Adventure Tours needs 20 people to commit to this trip. This tour will be cancelled by July 1, 2010 if 20 people are not committed.

1). There are no refunds for any unused portion of the tour that clients decide not to participate locally.
2). The sightseeing is subject to change in conjunction with the opening hours of the various sites included in the program, and depending on local conditions.
3). General gratuities are NOT included in your package price. It is customary for the tour participants to tip, on a personal basis, the tour escort, driver and local guides using the following guidelines:
Tour Escort: Euros 5,00 per person/per day;
Driver: Euros 3,00 per person/per day;
Local guides: Euros 2,00 per person/per guided tour (half-day)
4). Our US Dollar quotations are based on today’s approximate rate of exchange
(€ 1,00=$1.33 securing you no change in price if fluctuating no more than +/- 2%). Our rates are guaranteed ONLY in EURO. In case of major currency fluctuation, all prices are subject to change according to the rate of exchange available at time of payment. We highly recommend, therefore, that you protect yourself with your clients accordingly.
